Electric drum & barrel mixer

Each Drum & Barrel Mixer has a control interface to give operators complete control over the unit. The panel features a mix timer, variable RPM controller, docking functions and LED-light indicators. The unit is rated to 660lbs with a standard speed of 10RPM we also offer speed up to 24RPM if required.

The barrel mixer timer allows operators to set the mix duration, once the timer has finished the drum mixer it will automatically stop. Pressing the home button will return the barrel to the vertical ready for unloading.

 

Our range of drum palletizers are all compatible with the electric drum & barrel mixer. As seen in the image to the left our side-shift drum lifter enable drums to be lifted of the base plate in the barrel mixer.

Alternatively any forklift attachment or suitable lifting equipment can be used to remove the drum.The lifting equipment must provide a minimum of 12” lift height in order to place drums on to the drum mixer base plate.

This heavy duty clamping bars allows drums of 44-48 gallon to be secured into the mixing head. The adjustable clamping bar allows operators to adjust the mixer head to suit. You can secure drums of 44-48 gallon litres into the drum mixer head using the high-quality screw-top clamping bar. The adjustable clamping bar allows you to clamp drums of 34” - 40”.

The barrel mixer features safety gate interlocks to protect the operator during a mix cycle if the gates are opened the mixing stops.

 

The Drum & Barrel Mixer can handle steel, plastic and fibreboard drums with heights from 34” - 40”. If you need to handle smaller size drums, we offer an optional small-drum adapter. Get in touch and we can advise you on the best option for your drums.

We can offer an adjustable adapter to fit drums from 100-860mm in height into the drum mixer. You can set the adapter to different drum heights and diameters by simply moving the placement of two quick-release pins. If you require the need for a custom mixer for particular or unusual drums, we can modify this unit to suit your needs.
